Account Manager

Job Summary:

To be the key customer contact point, take and process customer applications, liaise with customers post-sale, deal with client creditors and be responsible for the ongoing relationship management with a select group of customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Take customer phone calls
  • Respond to customer emails
  • Process customer applications and sign up clients
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Outgoing personality and people skills is of key importance
  • Sales/ telesales experience advantageous
  • Some knowledge of personal finance advantageous
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and being generally computer literate
  • Well spoken in English and Afrikaans
  • Xhosa an advantage

Credentials and Experience

  • Matriculation
  • Experience in the micro loan market or other relevant personal finance area is an advantage
  • Customer service experience via telephone
  • Minimum 5 years working experience

Salary

  • According to experience - please indicate current income level in your application
  • Basic + Commission and bonuses
